Accessibility Information:
The Clayton Center offers several accessibility accommodations, including accessible parking, a ramped entrance, wheelchair seating spaces with companion seating, and compliant restroom facilities.

 

Assisted Listening:
For patrons who need assistive listening services, The Clayton Center provides the “Listen Everywhere” audio streaming service, which allows the show’s audio to be streamed directly to your cell phone. You can adjust the volume to suit your needs.

 

How to Use Listen Everywhere:

  1. Download the free “Listen Everywhere” app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

  2. Open the app and connect to the TCCAssistiveListening WiFi network.

  3. Enter the password: seeitlive.

  4. Select the “Audio GTDZ” channel.

  5. Connect your headphones or earbuds. If you need headphones, please visit the box office.

Accessibility Features:

  • Facility Access: The Cary Arts Center is equipped with an elevator for access to its Upper, Main, and Lower Levels. All levels, including the theater, are wheelchair accessible, featuring ADA-approved signage, handrails, and automatic door openers.

  • Drop-off & Parking:
    Patrons with limited mobility can be dropped off at the parking lot along Faculty Drive on the west side of the venue. A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please display a handicap hang tag or license plate to park in these spaces.

  • Restrooms & Water Fountains:
    Accessible restrooms and water fountains are available on all levels of the Cary Arts Center.

  • Theater Seating:
    Accessible seating options are available in both the Orchestra and Parterre sections for patrons using wheelchairs, as well as for those with visual, hearing, or mobility disabilities. To request assistance, please contact our Box Office at (919) 462-2055.

  • Service Animals:
    Service animals are welcome at the Cary Arts Center. Please keep them on a leash or harness at all times. If you plan to bring a service animal, notify the ticket representative when purchasing tickets so that an aisle seat can be reserved.
